He is my favorite artist, and he has created some of the most emotionally hard hitting works of art in existence. This is simply my reimagining of the famous Love and pain in my own style. I have titled it Vampire after Edvard's Love and Pain. To me, Edvard's masterpiece was always both. She is a vampire, but also solace. She is comfort, but both cause and pain. Love and pain are often so linked that they are indistinguishable from each other. What can lift you up, can also drain you.
That is how I see it and why I created this artwork.
Maybe you just see a woman with long hair embracing man, offering comfort and support. That is what is so amazing about art. We all see it through a different lense.
